Dance Teacher Reacts To NCT DREAM 엔시티 드림 ‘Hello Future’ + Diggity Dance Practices

NCT Dream's Hello Future gave me the feels. Diggity, on the other hand, hmmm... I'm still trying to figure this one out. In this video, I share why I think so.

My real name is Tad, but DonKawaii/Don was simply an IGN name I created playing FF14 online, so I kinda just rolled with it. Lol. I am also a teacher, and I teach people dance. And normally, I teach my students dance through sharing my own choreography, giving people drills or exercises to build foundation and technique. and I've been dancing for 15 years mainly growing up through Hip Hop dance culture, but my foundation also includes minor areas in ballet, jazz, and tap. And how I got into K-Pop was because the main three groups, Wonder Girls, Big Bang, and SNSD. That followed with korean dramas, variety shows, and the rest is history.

Jisung went harder in Diggity and he nailed it. Its make us proud everytime we see him in his type of dance dancing i dont know if you understand me tho 😂 but yeah i love how he dance in Diggity.

the dance break at the end in Hello Future is just top tier. And God bless Mark is leading it because he gives it so much fierce energy right from the middle of the formation.. His stare alone on some music show stages could've killed :') Shame that the studio is so narrow, it's better looking on a bigger stage when you don't see the members resting on the side. Still amazing 🔥

Hello future has so much musicality. You can’t place counts to a lot of the movements. It’s a testament to how talented they are in understanding the music and little nuances in the production. Not to mention that their stage presence is insane. There are no weak dancers in Dream!

tbh i thought the diggity choreo was cheesy in some parts 😭 like the bridge. but it is fun to watch the performances! also i think jisung went harder for diggity because it was more of his vibe??? i definitely got that impression

Diggity was chosen to be the song being promoted along with Hello Future because fans loved that song a lot. So it's just a rather common type of choreography for this one. It's a little bit like when they promoted Quiet Down or Stronger. Still some great moments but not as experimental like you said as their title track. Also at first we only got a choreography for 1 verse and 1 chorus (the one they filmed for Dream verse and they also got to perform it during their showcase). So I feel like they just added part of the choreography later. I honestly really love how they release dance practice for their b-side, I wish they did that during We Boom, Reload and also some earlier era like for Dunk Shot (My First and Last) or Trigger the fever (We Young era). Also I have to say I was quite disappointed to see Diggity was chosen as the promoted b-side for Hello Future , mostly because I saw the small performance they did and even if it's a nice choreography I would have loved to see Dream promote Life is still going on! The song has a style pretty new for Dream but it suits them a lot, I am really curious to see how they will perform it, maybe during their anniversary fanmeeting, who knows? As for Hello Future... what can I say, I love this song and the choreography is so satisfying too! It is so Dream... I have nothing but compliments for Hello Future!

I agree with you on Diggity, not really feeling it. They said it was promoted cos fans really liked it, which I think is just cos they liked the 'construction worker' outfits in the track video. I have a feeling that was a recent decision which is why the choreo isn't as creative or impactful

actually diggity was supposed to be promoted in hot sauce! however they changed it to hello future as fans liked Dive Into You too much, diggity already had a choreo since the track vid was revealed

Quiet down had the worst choreo for b-side promoted. Then it's diggiity. I loved the 1,2,3 and dunk shot choreos best among b-sides that nct dream performs along with title tracks. Stronger is definitely in middle not best but not bad. It's good.

i think you cannot say 'worst' though, because all the choreographers work really hard to create it. Maybe it's not reach your expectations level of your choreography taste. Every each choreography that were made are unique and special in its own way. That's my opinion.

@@syiraalee3383 yeah agree with u but I had high expectations and it just wasn't it. I felt it didn't go well. For me it's worst choreo among all nct dream songs with choreo. And again reload album was just so rushed for no reason. All songs are soooo good tho. My fav mini album but quiet down choreo bothers me. But it's okay just my 2 cents opinion.

@@velapricilla2431 yes my own preference. I usually don't dislike performances but for some reasons I don't like quiet down choreo. It could be better is my opinion
