Dream has definitely grown soooo much as vocalists and performers since their debut which is to be expected from such hard workers who debuted at the ages of 14-17. It's kinda insane really. What made me first fall in love with them as a group was watching them perform together on stage. Their choreos have always been insanely hard and the way they move like they have one heart really drew me in. Your mention of using contrast and mixing the sweet with the salty with the sour etc... made me immediately hungry, especially for Korean food as there are so many texture and flavour contrasts. I suppose that whether it be food, dance, music, art, contrast will always be interesting and keep bringing you back for more :D

These boys already been together for almost 10 years, they're totally in sync enough they can just bust out harmonious tunes spontaneously even though is not even their songs everytime they singing together. They're probably looks very young in kpop industry but they're much more matured and experienced compare to the recent kpop groups at the same age range.

wow first of all.. you’re fast!!🥸 glad to start my day with your videos personal opinion- if there is an album repackage coming, you can always be sure they’re keeping the yummiest stuff till the very end and it’s smart commercially too. i enjoyed listening to hot sauce… but hello future is more fun! the song is beautiful and interesting to decipher. considering album repackages that’s what happened to me when i was listening to ‘regular’ by nct 127 and then heard ‘simon says’ in their repackage. can’t even explain what exactly catches your attention, but the song somehow gives a really strong impression i wonder if you would find ‘one (monster&infinity)’ by superm interesting. not even structure wise or smth, just curious if you’ll figure out the trick easily

@@syakurahsulong1023 The producers, Moonshine, often include a more or less hidden voice saying 'Moonshine'. It was basically to watermark their production, but has since become a bit of a treasure hunt for fans to hear all of them. In this song it is very well hidden, but if you listen to the beginning of Red Velvet's 'Naughty' or WayV's 'Turn Back Time' you can hear it much easier to get the idea of it. So Adam The reason why they are not totally using the power o 3's is been explained by a producer in an interview from ReacttotheK: Koreans get bored if the song is kept the same even in small sections, that's why you see the melodic, harmonic and rhythmic parts change so much and so quickly.

I am so happy to have discovered this bc I have a higher appreciation for this song now. Also, I think I just developed "Golden Ears" thru this, never would have noticed that lower harmony if you didn't mention it cuz it was so subtle, and I usually have a good ear for harmonies! So naturally, I instantly subscribed lol. But really, NCT are really no joke when it comes to music production, I dare say Dream has some of the best vocals out there too. Would really love to see you react and breakdown a SHINee song - the absolute legends of kpop, with some of the absolute best vocals in the industry too. I think 1 of 1 (by SHINee) would be a good song to start with bc it's VERY different from what you've reviewed so far. Also, for solo artists - Taemin. His latest song Advice and his previous hit IDEA, would love to hear your take on the music production there! Ok I'm done.

I’ve also been doing music and worked for labels and yada yada forever. I love that KPop and NCT in general don’t rely on power of 3’s and other predictable techniques. What I love is that it’s not expected and I absolutely remember the melody changes. I hope the general public does as well. Maybe we can switch from a lack of creativity that we often see in American pop music to creative pop? Maybe we can create art and get creative without wondering if new music will be as predictable as the nursery rhymes we grew up with? Let’s face it…as song writers we need to be stimulated and we absolutely want to step out of a box but to write and make money, we rely on the basics of nursery rhymes so people feel familiar and comfortable with what they are hearing. Let’s give KPOP and particularly the NCT creative team major props for smashing the norm to bits. See ya later normality.

There is one thing that I’ve always wondered I hope you’ll answer me. To me a song is belongs to it’s producer bc the creator is producer and I wonder how a producer sell their songs? Like how is this process like? For example a producer made a song that album sales are so good and the song is on the charts do they get anything for it? Or the moment they give it to the artist it’s now belongs to artist or do producers and songwriters get any percentage of income that artists/albums get?

You should really check out nct b-sides most of them are completely different compared to their title tracks, a lot of nct title tracks have a certain sound to them it's hard to explain but if you a NCTzen you may know what I'm talking about. Different NCT subunits have their own sound in their title tracks BUT THE B-SIDES BE ON ANOTHER LEVEL. if you thought the vocals were good here you should check out a nct dream ballad I reccomend "Be There for You" it's the 3 vocalists of nct dream, and it has a live version they did recently. One thing you will learn is SM doesn't play about their vocalists, this goes for all groups
