I met immortal Technique for 5 minutes in Belfast back in 2011 and I can tell you I asked him about Dancing with the devil song and he knew what I was asking and he told me no he wasn't there but it is something that happens every day and he wanted it to be in the public domain and the best way for him to do that was to put himself in the story.

What i really like about technique is even in the interviews he's done; he wants younger rappers to not focus on glorifying drug dealing but instead talk about the effects these things have. As said below, it's not a true story he tells. He's spoken about it in interviews before, you can look it up. He wrote the song to describe the things that happen in gang life in the United States. I know Country Boy here is a real thug on his streets, but you know, different cities have different circumstances. In some cities, the rims you have on your car determine your cool. In Texas, you can have a gangsta saddle on your horse.
