Coming all the way from London, Grace Whitney joins the National Academy of Dance during Tara and her friends' second year. She is the goddaughter of Miss Raine, and is a very talented dancer, especially in ballet. She gets easily bored and loses interest, so she always needs variety and action.

Dance Academy is mainly about the fifteen-year-old Tara Webster - a girl who grew up on a farm in outback Australia. Since she was a little girl she has dreamt of being a dancer and in the series she finally makes it into the National Academy of Dance. It’s known as the best school in the country and she is sure her life is about to be spectacular.
Throughout the series Tara and her friends face the universal challenges of being a teenager and they battle through the minefield of elite dance training. Relationships grow and change as they live side by side in the Boarding House. They each take a different path, but they start to find out who they are and they all dare to chase their dreams.

I loved watching this, grace is such a complex and interesting character

Grace was an interesting character. Why was she not in the movie? She was one of the characters brought on later on in the show , like Ollie ,which I had mixed feelings about. She was a different kind of mean than Abigail , which is why they stopped hanging out. She came in between Kat and Tara’s friendship. Towards the end of the show they tried to make her less mean by pairing her with Ben which was so so. They pulled pranks. Characters like Petra I thought were rather useless. Grace, all in all, was nice enough for the show and was a good addition.

But she was "in love" with Ben because she wanted to take away Tara's boyfriend (Ben) And she even confirmed that she sabotaged Tara whole year. She didn't want her to get a contract.

I thought Grace was interesting, even though she pissed me off sometimes. Grace has never said that she loves dancing, so I think her father just forced her into the Academy bc he doesn't have time for her. I think Grace just did all those terrible things to get her father's attention. But, at the end, I am glad Tara could bring out the best in her.

She represented mean ballet dancers wh are scarily good; they can be mean cuz they are always on top. Abigail was mean from insecurity and nkt grtting what she needs from ballet; Grace chose it because in a way as good as she was dance couldnt give her enough; she needed her dad.

I love her being a ballet here, Dance Academy, just as I do for the other girls. Also just as much being a mermaid, in Mako Mermaids.

She's definitely not my favorite, bc she pissed me off sometimes. But, with the fact that her mother died when she was 8 and her father barely pays attention to her, it's no wonder she did those terrible things just to get her father's attention. And it seems like her father forced her into the Academy bc she never once said she loves dancing. I am glad Tara could bring out the best in her in the end. I really wish I could have seen her in the movie.

What MBTI do you guys think grace was? I think an ENTP, she was very cunning and based her personality on others to get what she'd like and knew what ticked them off. I think Abigail was an ENFJ. Too feelingsy but very similar to Grace.
