What's great about this choreo is that it is SO iconic that BTS does not need to dance while singing this song until just the killing point and then the audience going batsh*t crazy. There are so many of their songs like that where it becomes a festival with ARMY but BTS aren't dancing the whole way through, it isn't necessary. For the PTD concerts, they've opted for special and full choreography for "ON" and "Black Swan" and then it becomes a wonderful spectacle in addition to the dancing. Recommend "Fake Love" and "Blood Sweat and Tears" to your BTS list.

That killer bit with the bent arms and crazy footwork is known as the 3:33 dance because that's the timestamp in the music video when they hit it. In concerts BTs often includes Fire as part of a 4-song high-energy medley where they're running around at the end of the thrust stage and freestyling, hyping up (the already hyped) audience. Then they seem to almost instantly come together in that formation and wham! the crowd goes crazy(er)!

One thing I’ve ALWAYS LOVED about BTS is how they step into their next set so fluidly, flawlessly!
@MariaChavez-ey5sr2 жыл бұрын
This. Too many groups get what I call cheerleader like moves where they micropause between movements and it’s just lacking in fluidity and musicality. BTS is top tier in this but to be fair many of the top kpop idol groups are (and I find the male groups show better fluidity than female idol groups not because they are better dancers per say but their choreography on a whole tends to lend it self to fluidity more).

I’m really glad you do real reactions and keep it real with the parts you didn’t like or might do different. I’d rather have that than false praise and you always give reasons for why you might do it differently and that’s great, too . I also like that you explain about past choreo or dancers or dances of the time too that you see in their videos. I’ve been waiting for this one cause I thought you might like it.

I have always loved their formation changes, and I could watch their dance practices forever. Jimin is really good at making up a lot of distance and getting in place. The three principal dancers, j-hope, Jimin, and Jungkook, are also called the 3J's. They are the original dance line. Taehyung, also known as V, was added to the dance line later. There is one of their first Japanese songs, titled I Like It Pt 2 in English, or Ano Basho De meaning In This Place in Japanese, a kind of cool jazzy funny vibe, that has a dance practice where they start lined up V, Suga, j-hope, JK, Jimin, RM, Jin, and after many formation changes and even a phone booth skit, the ends of the initial line are flipped, while the 3J's end where they started - at center. And unless you looking for it, you won't see it, LOL. All the moves make dance sense. I watched it like about 12 times yesterday, smiling the whole time.

Really appreciate the context of what was going on at the time! This is absolutely a top tier dance practice and yes several of them like to practice in boots to improve stamina and how hard they can hit without boots. The transition to the full company is my favorite part. Thank you for the reaction!

I recently subscribed to your channel and I want to thank you for breaking down the transitions in BTS dance practices. I've been ARMY since 10/2018. ALL your reactions have given me a new appreciation for their videos until I went back to re-view each of their MVs after viewing each of your reaction videos. You and your crew do an excellent job....again Thanks! OT7 💜x7

The part of the choreography that you kinda didn't like, maybe they did it simple to be their breathing moment because they're not just dancing, they're singing live. You're right about BTS got the best formation.

You're right they need to take a slow move to take advantage in breathing.

the most interesting thing for me from that dance practice video was, they're really really in sync and the formations really tight but there's no mirror in the room at all. from the beginning they're dancing facing the dancers not a mirror 🤯🤯

I love your reactions. There isn't a dance practice video - yet - but I'd love to see your reaction to the Black Swan performance at the PTD concert in Las Vegas - there are some really good fancams of it. - here's a link to one - kzbin.info/www/bejne/sIK9hGCVqtaVmqs.
