Thank you very much for this video as well as your other Pensacola area posts. My family and I will be in the Pensacola Beach for vacation later this year and your recent videos have been very informative and helpful! There is a lot of travel content on KZbin but having something current is very useful for us to see what things are like now that the pandemic is on it's way out. Glad to see this bridge is back too otherwise we would have had to go the long way around when driving in from out of town [Texas]. Keep up the great content!

There is one spot on the bridge it goes down to one lane each way but we did not face any issues and its short so no biggie 😉

I just traveled on Pensacola Bay bridge for first time to NAS to visit my father at the Cemetery and it's much closer than driving all the way to interstate. I hope there will never be another hurricane. And if there is another one and the bridge still under construction, FDOT better moves those barges out of the way this time. We don't want another hurricane and another mistake to happen again. And I'm glad they are expecting to open all four lanes back up by weekend.

I'm glad the bridge is opened. I can now go and visit my father at Barrancas Cemetery and pay visit to his grave site first time. He was alive before Sally hit, and he passed away six months ago after the bridge closed. I had to drive all the way to interstate to see him. Now this way is much closer and will be the first time when I get read to travel there.

The other half of bridge should be open end of year too which will help with traffic next spring and summer too! The bridge will light up at night which is really cool!

No toll for this bridge, however there is a $1 toll to get to the beach on the second bridge. They will bill you by plate if you dont have sunpass.. and only going to beach coming off beach there is no toll

Yes absolutely!! This is referred to as the 3 mile bridge. People will likely always call it that even though with the new bridge its probably a little bigger than 3 mile 😃 its so nice already to be able to get to the beach from Pensacola!

A hurricane to this bridge out and it was rebuilt that quick there is no way I'm driving on this bridge right now I'll take the other tollbridge I'll pay the $5
