It‘s sad that this movie flopped. This girl busted her butt and even got injured while doing this scene. But her reward is in people watching this now and praising her. There are two reasons y this movie failed to perform at box office: 1. The heroine’s death (Trisha). The pair was a hit from their previous film varsham and audience wanted to see them together till the end. Also a heroine death would most likely fail a movie during 2000’s in Telugu 2. Pokiri movie released along side this movie in a week apart, Mahesh Babu movie shattered box office records of Telugu at that time which obviously made this movie less attractive in theatres
