@marseatheadrest5 жыл бұрын
B o b b i e M a r k e e im the same as emmy except i started last year at 14 like you’re going to! what helped me is finding a leg/full body stretching routine for yourself. you should stick to a routine religiously if you want to see results in flexibility! there are plenty of videos on yt that you can follow, like the one’s from alivia d’andrea’s channel. start slowly + know your limits tho, and don’t overstretch bc even just pulling a muscle will affect your performance or roadblock ur progress. also, it’s very helpful to generally know/memorize names of ballet steps. i was a bit lost during my first few classes since i wasn’t familiar with the terms being used, but you learn along the way. have fun and have confidence in yourself!! practice regularly and be consistent!

Thank you so much for these advices, they're really helpful. I'm 28, and I'm still working in getting my splits, my goal is achieving it before turning 30, I've seen progress but there's still a long path to follow. For anyone out there who's also working for this, try checking the way you breath, and try to relax, these two things are a game changer in flexibility.

Nice Miss and Mr. Yea to me, it's about having strength inside of flexibility. These two elements of the body go hand in hand to create something that bodies can potentially do to the best of it's ability
@Kez16h4 жыл бұрын
When you do flexible moves like this, should you have your knees locked? I see people with super straight legs but idk if their knees are locked
@macey24864 жыл бұрын
That's your goal. It's hard, but you just got to keep pushing your knee back and if you can't push it locked while keeping good technique everywhere else, you need to go lower on your leg.

@natalysaharamembrenoromero24435 жыл бұрын
It wouldn't be the same because you aren't gonna be to flexible like you can have been if you start younger but with practice everything is possible 😊 that is just my point of view
@하나-x3g5 жыл бұрын
Yes you can still reach this level of flexibility, even at an older age. If you were younger, it would take less time because you're naturally more flexible at a young age but that doesn't mean it's impossible for you to be flexible even when older. It will just take more time and practice to reach this level of flexibility. :)
