What elegance a waltz or a minuet at ball with candlelight with men and women ballroom gowns with petticoats and slippers and gentlemen with tapestries of clothing. The minuet is always a triple rhythm and of slow tempo as a dance, but it has been so freely treated by the classical composers that its tempo is often rapid. Tempo di Minuette has come to mean an allegrette, or even a qicker speed. The same comes from Latin minimus (the smallest) since it is danced with dainty steps. The minuet is the most important of the dance forms, since it was the only dance regularly into the modern sonata and symphony, and it was frequently used in the suite, which it contrasts is derived a musical form used almost constantly in modern music, and so called the minuet - form or Song of of Trie, in a great deal drawing- room, as some classical, music is written.
