Who thumbs-downs it? People who (as the comments indicate) don't like: (1) the cheesy redone lead vocals bleeding through, (2) the fact that it's in the wrong key and the wrong tempo, and (3) that the lyrics are wrong. "Weird" that you'd not notice that.
