This is just beautiful and I thank everyone for this song. I don't live in NYC now but used to and often think what it would be like to live through Covid in NY. I have been a donator to Feeding American and this just got me to pull out the credit card again. Thank you, I needed a good cry.

I was chocked up - beautiful!! Isn't this based in part on my son Jeremy Cohen's story? How about giving him credit in Show More?

Wow. That’s your son? Fantastic...because it was inspired by a number of stories and they are different people’s real lives, we felt we shouldn’t address anyone in it specifically, especially not without their permission in case they preferred not to be associated with it for any reason at all. That said, I am extremely inspired by his story and yours (my best friend from HS is also an oral cancer survivor). I’m also now a big fan of his photography! Congrats to both of you...I did send him a message on socials and would love to be able to promote the song and his story as well and hopefully raise even more money and awareness for FeedingAmerica.org, BroadwayCares.org, and MusiCares. Have him get in touch if he would like that. Best wishes to you and bravo on your inspirational speaking! C

Eva, thank you for mentioning your sons story. I don't live in NY any more but an feel for everyone there and absolutely loved your son Jeremy's story. When I read your comment I had to google him and that got me in tears and smiles like the song did. As bad as covid is some wonderful things have come out of it. Thanks again, Jim
