Apart from this plain 1976 promo clip (that now is a familiar classic) there's a fantastic live version from their filmed 1977 Australian tour.It's the ultimate live version featuring a full orchestra with violins and a maestro directing it and ABBA look stunning in their iconic satin outfits and boots. And all this in front of an EXPLOSIVE audience!

@MrSafety-1969 Hi Mr Safety, Abba does a great job at every little detail. Some people think their music is simple and just fluff and they are so wrong. Their music has depth and intricate musical arrangements with the most amazing vocals. They are all masters of their craft and only make it seem easy. They are magnificent 🤩💙

▪As an indication of how much I love ABBA's music, I made a rough list of my top 20 favourite ABBA songs a while back .. and "Dancing Queen" was NOT on it .. And yet, I really like it .. It is wonderfully constructed, arranged, and performed .. Maybe because it is probably their most played song, the high exposure worked against it when doing my rankings .. But a great song !

Hi Sue and Chelsea. This is my favourite ABBA song. They were huge here in Australia. I remember when ‘Mamma Mia’ was released in 1975. My cousin Michelle and I used to pretend to be Agnetha and Frida and we’d sing and dance along to the song. We were around 10 y/o at the time. I had every ABBA album released in Australia. I have been to many ABBA tribute shows over the years and they’ve always been so much fun. Great reaction, ladies. Enjoy your weekend! ❤️🇦🇺
