My thought when I saw the clarinet: "Everyone will go on about how talented she is because she plays the clarinet." And of course, this is true. But remember her voice, that is another instrument she really knows how to use. Sometimes singers are underrated just because their instrument is not visible without an endoscope.

Right on. In the 60's and 70's there used to be trios and quartets in many of the nice places. Dress up a little, call your favorite squeeze, and hit it. Usually good food, conversation, music and the local lady and band ( like Chloe and the group). Super time to be alive.

@@Spoon80085 The bass guitarist is always hidden away in bands, we're more hidden than the drummer. Double bassists in jazz bands don't have that problem as much so I said bass guitar because it fit the joke better.

I've watched this about 15 times in the last few days and told all my friends about it......It's just an instant classic. The arrangement, the lighting, her niceness and relaxed talent, with PMJ's superb backing and then, that clarinet....what a rich tone and wonderful solos.....I might watch it again

This. The swing phrasing is spot-on. Yes, it doesn't sound like the original on Big Band instruments, it sounds like a legit Jazz swing piece. I love the energy put into the dance and top.hat too!
