Sue always educates me about the songs and artists. How interesting. Billy Idol has the perfect weightlifting song "Pumping on Steel." I still listen to it at the gym while I'm pumping steel.

Great song Always loved Billy He comes across as a real chancer sorta an Artful Dodger type Anyway Generation X were amazing band and had greaf single called Your Generation which Pete Townsend loved and Pete and Billy became fast friends with Bills performing in Al Star concerts of both Tommy and Quadrephenia Also big shout out to Steven Stevens His partner in crimes all the way though is solo career

@jessem470 Hey Jesse, yes Steve S was a great partner in crime....lots of charisma too. I don't know that Gen X song but that is cool they teamed up with Pete though. I will have to check it out 🤗💙

.. Great song, and a cool ( if slightly weird ) film clip .. I think I slightly prefer the mix on the original Gen X version compared with this re-mixed Billy Idol solo version, but they're both good .. "White Wedding" is my fave Billy song, but another good one with a fantastic official video is "Cradle of Love" .. It's lots of fun, well acted, and has some epic dance / striptease action ! 😄

Hey Wayne, I really like White Wedding as well but I totally forgot about Cradle of Love. That was a fun one. Thanks for the memory jog on that one. I wonder sometimes how many songs I have forgotten about 🤣❤️

@@playitagainsue Yes, I love that video for "Cradle of Love" .. Whoever the woman was that played Devon was just sensational .. And the expressions on the guy's face were priceless .. Apparently, the video was made without Billy in it because he was still recovering from a motorcycle accident and wasn't in shape to do any moving around.
