It has to be difficult to obtain a strong connection with another partner who you aren't used too! I think this was a great routine for Nick and Witney. The Paso Doble is my favorite dance, and I could see Nick wanted to really channel being the strong male in the routine. At times it seemed he was to intense, which kind of showed in the shaping as the judges mentioned. But I could seem him become more comfortable as the dance progressed.

this couple just doesn't work for me, i also think that they both did a great job, but personally, nobody compares to sharna. nick and sharna have a strong connection and nobody can beat them.

Same.. i really admire whitney’s dancing skill but I dont think she should be paired up wd nick.. they just dont have that chemistry.. i actually think that Lindsay would be a better choice for nick aside from sharna

I actually really liked the dance and the song. Nick was too tense, that was the problem but still he did a fantastic job. If he would have relaxed more and let it go he would have gotten 10´s instead of 9´s.

Nick was missing the technical expertise of Sharna, I still think Witney won the mirror ball due to her partner not her own skills, Derek got to perfect his skills by getting GREAT partners and now he is almost as good as he thinks he is

Witney is so fake. No wonder there isn't that same connection that he has with Sharna. She even said herself that she didn't want to dance with Nick. She's such a joke. Carlos and Nick both thrive away from her. Her routines lack excitement, intrigue and depth - all things that a GOOD choreographer should have. #teamSharNick all the way!
