My teacher is doing live online classes on zoom, it’s really hard to see the screen and tbh I don’t completely know what’s going the entire time😂. Also she has decided that since we don’t have to drive to the studio then that means we should do longer classes.😂✌️

Our classes are shorter, but I never know what’s going on. Bonus points putting it on multi view is pointless because I am blind as a bat and am not putting contacts in for an hour long class. Half the time I stop in the middle of the combination (around balance/por de bra) and look around like a fool.

I have to do zoom classes and the only area in my house that has a good barre and mirror has carpet. I can’t do turns. Also I’m like constantly doing the wrong combinations and messing up because my brain isn’t used to not being in the studio. My teacher have made reminders (aimed at me) that only after knowing the combinations can we improve. It’s also scary that my teacher can see me the entire time but doesn’t correct me often. Also when the music cuts out because of my bad internet and I’m kinda just standing there missing the combination. 😑

Hip hop classes during quarantine just weren’t the same. The directions I faced at home were reversed from at the studio but I had to work with what I had. It was strange going to class and when we walk to our partner it was odd not having them actually there. My recital dances require the class to have everyone there doing it together so doing alone doesn’t have the same effect.

I am a recreational dancer and I take ballet, but one class a week the jazz teacher takes our class. This week we started online classes and they said it would be ballet. Instead of 4x90mins we have 3x60mins. And the first two classes were with the jazz teacher. And there’s literally girls of every age in the zoom. It took them six weeks of quarantine to organise this, and they have been doing Instagram live gymnastics classes every day for the whole quarantine. I’m disappointed to say the least.
