The lift itself is amazing! It is the exit from that is more impressive. It is so smooth and controlled. Danny’s skills isn’t football served him well as a dancer! Fingers crossed he wins the mirrorball!!

That's bc Brandon is terrible choreographer. All season long the judges had to find ways of telling him that because there was nothing to say about Chandler. All her issues were Brandon's fault, how do u fumble a salsa with Chandler? Whitney's choreography was superior

This felt more posey & lift heavy than it did with salsa contest…I love the creativity & willingness to push the envelope but it’s been the same thing every time with dances that require lifts… it a 8 for me!

I don't think it's the same dance over and over, but let me offer this perspective.... One of Dannys' strengths is tricks and lifts, which are not technally easy even if he and Witney make them look easy. Witney also seems to choreograph routines with her partners strengths in mind along with the framework of the dance so for Danny in dances that lifts are allowed, they will often have lifts. When she was partnered with Alfonso she choreographed to his strengths, and when she was partnered with Milo she did storytelling and energetic choreography. Dannys athletic abilities mean athletic routines.

@@ShayTheAnti-Feminist I have to disagree in this being Whitney’s fault. I blame the producers for selecting this song for them to dance Salsa to. Cardi B’s song “I Like it” does not even have the counts necessary to dance Salsa to it. The original song that Cardi B sampled from by Pete Rodriguez is a Boogaloo but has much more similarities to the counts and rhythms you’d hear in Salsa music or any song with that 1-2-3 rhythm.
