I know a lot of people don’t consider this, but the person in the video could be watching comments or someone with the same issue could be looking to know if others are like them. And if this is already an insecurity of theirs, reading comments like ‘I’m nauseated’ ‘this is disgusting’ is not nice. So please think before you type. Not only for this video, but other videos show casing issues a person may have.

It is not a hygiene issue. It is an overreactive scalp because of use of harsh unattural unorganic non biological chemicals in it that dries it out the scalp (shampo etcetera) which causes excema. This condition is known as Sebboheric dermatitis. Has it to long it can go to hairloss. A horrible condition.

I have psoriasis and have scalp build-up like that. It’s caused hair loss, redness in my scalp, and flakes. The thing is that I’ve never had poor hygiene…it came out of nowhere when I was 15ish. I hate it so much. It’s embarrassing. This video reminds me that some people have it worse too, and that I’m not alone. It’s not gross. It simply cannot be helped. It’s no one’s fault. The bald spots from my psoriasis are a huge struggle and impact my self-esteem more than anything. You do feel disgusting, and like you need a hat on 24/7. I love this video because it’s showcasing pure care for someone who can’t help their condition. I feel for everyone who struggles with these skin conditions! 🙏 It would be so nice to have a full head of hair. We’re still magnificent. Love 👐

it is NOT dandruff. it's a non-contagious skin condition called psoreasis. this person didn't let anything "accumulate" - it's not a hygiene issue. notice how their hairs are clean and healthy. just a dermatological issue. i think you should look into it a bit more in case you ever have a client with it, so that you don't accidentally reprimand them for something they have no control over. /nm /gen

When I was 10 years old or so I had seborrheic dermatitis. Which for those who don't know means I had orange flakes not unlike peeling tree bark sticking to my scalp. It didn't peel off nicely like this video but I have to admit having this combing motion done to the scalp like I did many times by my mom felt pretty good lol. If you're wondering what fixed it for me hot oil treatments helped but what ultimately got rid of this for good was the brand Teatree's hair and scalp treatment shampoo + conditioner which from its name of course is a tea tree oil treatment.

I have psoreasis in my scalp, so this is very familiar to what I've dealt with all my life. I don't know if you have this available where you live, but here in Denmark you can get special shampoos ordinated by the doctor that has tar in it and will basically do a deep cleaning of your scalp. It does take a few washes but it literally strips the flakes and dandruff. When you're done with it, you just wash your hair with shampoo and conditioner like normal. Ofc it doesn't cure it, but it does give you and your scalp a chance to recover just a bit.

You should be careful with tar treatments. Yes they do retard the growth of flakes but it's also carcinogenic. Don't use it too often. If you just want to treat the symptoms a better way is to use salicylic acid. Otherwise people go on steroid treatments or, if it's really bad, something like Humira can completely clear it. But Humira is an immune suppressant so there's side effects with that too. Sunlight is supposed to help. Diet (avoiding food coloring for some reason) really helps mine. Don't believe those people saying that going vegan or whatever will cure you. This is not about poor health, it's an overreaction of your immune system causing your skin cells to grow 7x faster than normal.
@omnomnom1
@omnomnom1 2 жыл бұрын
@@dangerbirb4981 thank you but as you can tell, we don't live in the same country, so we don't have the same products available. I see an effect in the tar shampoo, which is used maybe once every month or so depending on how bad it is. The sun might help, but you're also at increased risk of skin cancer with psoreasis. So.... tar vs sun? I think it's the same basically in terms of how much it exposes you to cancer. I never mentioned diet, so I don't know why you included that :) And thank you for educating me on a disease I've had since birth. I know what it is and what it does. 👌

I have psoriasis and I have dandruff, not this bad but it’s bad, I clean my hair and take care of it so this video makes me feel good for some reason, since his hair looked perfectly clean.

Thats gotta feel amazing after its all out of there. I've seen a mild form of this on my son's head. I thought he wasn't washing out the shampoo, but now I'm thinking it's eczema. Best wishes to you, and happy new year!

As a person with psoriasis, i can relate, though i don't get such huge chunks. But i feel so done with my hair sometimes. Chopped off my waist length hair and sometimes i just wish i didn't have it
