I watched him in all the film noir movies that played in the afternoon after school. He was wonderful. Everything he was in.

Around 1982 I was with a buddy while driving down Sunset Blvd. We got to a stop light and I look to my right and there's Dane Clark staring at me. I nodded and he nodded back. I recognized him but didn't know his work at the time but became a big fan later. One of my favorites now. Love this interview!

Enjoyed Mr Clark's insightful & thoughtful remarks very much. Seemed like quite an intelligent & classy gentleman. Solid dependable actor.

I like Dane Clark, but I also like the fact that the interviewer neither gets the details right nor understands what the subject is saying. There's no connection whatever, which is why he's so effusive and fawning.

People, please stop judging poor skip Lowe. true, he wasn't the best interviewer. This is so very obvious to anyone who has half a brain. It is also very obvious that he did the very best he could considering he actually produced all these many interviews with no budget. Anyway, we should all be very thankful for his many efforts because if it wasn't for him, we would not have all these many interviews with these great, older, forgotten and unappreciated stars/icons! 🤔🤗👍❤️

The interviewer is unintentionally funny.

Dane Clark was great with Ida Lupino in Deep Valley. Extremely emotional final scene, when he died in the arms of Ms. Lupino, next to a creek where they used to visit. It's obvious that there was something between them, besides acting in this scene. A remarkably fine actor...his parts are always deeply felt and expressed. Such a pleasure to watch.

thanks for posting so many of these 'classic' interviews.... I watched Skip E. Lowe most every week on 'pubic access' ..it was often hard to track down the day and time on my cable company... I recorded so many of them..... .

What a lovely interview with a Hollywood great and nice guy. We need more of him. Did anyone catch the other actors in that union hall meeting. There was Peter Whitney, Allan Hale, and Sam Levene....

I just watched him in the film ;' Highly Dangerous '' with Margaret Lockwood , (1950) on TV. I hadn't seen him in years, but knew his first name, so I checked the filmography. Loved that first clip, I'll be seeking out his work now.

Skip was not a good interviewer but gotta give him credit, he featured people that rarely appeared on the talk shows (with the exception of Dick Cavett' s show).
