There are better individuals at specific disciplines within kayaking, but he is pretty much the best living all-around whitewater kayaker.

@@liampurvis2477 The only discipline I can think of that he doesn't dominate is slalom, which requires full time slalom training. Little doubt if he wanted to he would medal in that too, but slalom is boring compared to this sort of extreme stuff. I

@@big1dog23 Aside from slalom people like Ben Stookesberry and Chris Korbulic lead with expeditions and first descents, Aniol and Sven probably have ran more hard whitewater, and then you have legends like Fisher or Lindgren who have displayed the highest leadership and logistics coordination by leading the Congo or Tsang Po expeditions. its a small sport, but thankfully big enough that no one can be the best at everything, even though Dane is the best at the most.
