Great sounding pedal, and simple too! Even my drummer was able to figure this one out!! I couldn't get into that first guitar's design, but that Tele was like coming home!

People are always mad at the whole "clean tone". In terms of pedals I'm pretty sure they mean no pedals. Just the amps tone.

When you played on position one, the words out of my mouth were, "Good enough for me" as well. Spooky.. Thanks for sharing. Dano makes great pedals for a small number of pesos.

Thanks for yet another awesome demo Brett! Purchased one of these yesterday and it absolutely slays with my telecaster and a 68 Deluxe Reverb RI at verge of break-up. I should add that this pedal takes fuzz units really, really well. I've been through about a dozen OD units and this one is the only one that can handle feral beasts such as the RM Axis and the Dba Fuzz War without collapsing into a black hole and still retaining a pleasing mid range.

Do you put the Breakdown before or after the fuzz?
@grahamhodgson91544 жыл бұрын
I got one and I have to say it (like me) is simple and (unlike me) just makes the both the single coil and humbucker guitars I have just sound more betterer :) I can't explain it any other way.

Great demo, I love the tones here. With the relic look I guess all used ones will be "mint" on Reverb LOL.

Wonderful playing as usual. And awesome tones. Just one comment. It seems that the "clean" setting of the amp is rather at the edge of breakup. How would sound this pedal with a real clean amp? Im on the edge of buying it. Thank you. You should demo the supro boost on 18v. In love with it.

Great demo. Would this be a good 'always on pedal' for that clean/not clean blues rythm tone you can add a zen or something to for leads? Love delectro pedals and have used the transparent overdrive cool cat for years

Sounds great, but this is priced at $150 usd. Aren't Dano pedals supposed to be cheap? You can almost get 2 fulltone Fulldrive 2s for that.

Jon, I'm not sure where you're getting those figures but a visit to Fulltone's site proves otherwise, with all due respect. store.fulltone.com/products/full-drive2-v2-fd2-v2

Your clean is a bit dirty ,,
@bastienbernard36545 жыл бұрын
Sorry but it wasn't a clean tone to start with.. bit disappointed as i'd like to know how it could work also as a foundation pedal into a clean amp boosted by over drive pedals. :/
@pizzapie4me4 жыл бұрын
That's not what this pedal is about. It's for that juicy saturation. This is the circuit that Page used on early Zeppelin records.

Michael Yolch everybody knows a overdrive sounds better when the amp is on the edge of break up
@michaelyolch795 жыл бұрын
@@jaredheld2672 Um...that's absolutely 100% not true whatsoever. Not even going to argue with you.
@007Elvisofnazareth5 жыл бұрын
@@jaredheld2672 You are right. But man, that's not on the edge of breakup distortion here, that's crappy preamp master volume distortion. This amp is a bad choice for this pedal demo.
@JimijaymesProductions4 жыл бұрын
@@michaelyolch79 this kind of classic boost pedal works way better with a cranked clean sound basically on the edge of crunch especially the sound that the single coils had. A dead ceab sound doesn't really suit this kind of pedal, rarely suits alot of drive pedals other than the more amp in a box pedals. Probably could of been a touch cleaner with the buckers though, but makes sense to me, now when people use a much heavier tone high gain to show an over drive its terrible in my opinion cos a clean boost and a mxr distortion + don't differ that much in those circumstances.
@pizzapie4me4 жыл бұрын
Nah. This pedal was made exactly for how it was used in this demo.
