Dane, I had my driving test today in Waterford. Passed by the skin of my teeth but delighted to have got over the line. I started this journey to get driving way back in February 2020. Your videos were a massive help to me, particularly you videos on the theory side of things. Without them I wouldn’t have passed today. Thanks for that. Legend! Up Wexico 🟣🟡 and up Dane Tyghe from the Déise ⚪️🔵! Mark.

I think the best way to learn is to not overly relying on the tachometer in your vehicle, practice the different sound your engine makes the deeper you press the gas, you'll slowly learn from the sound of your vehicle how to judge your speed

Hi Dane, while passing parked car, should I indicate if there are no oncoming or following car? And should I only indicate if I am crossing the lane? Should I not indicate if I am not crossing the lane even if there is a following car at my back?
@DaneTygheletsdrive3 жыл бұрын
No need to indicate if you are not crossing the middle line or the halfway point.

@DaneTygheletsdrive3 жыл бұрын
Maybe... What if you're on a hill? Don't you think it would be a good idea in case you rolled back?
@reetsful3 жыл бұрын
Yes you right. When we say turnabout is that means I can turn car with more than 3 turns if road is small and car is big, as 3 point turn means only take 3 turns ?
@DaneTygheletsdrive3 жыл бұрын
Yes you should complete it in 3 on a smaller road but it's perfectly fine to take extra turns on a smaller road.

@@DaneTygheletsdrive I was given 5 grade 2s for over taking stationary parked cars too much on narrow roads really confused about this as you have to overtake them.
@DaneTygheletsdrive3 жыл бұрын
Yes you do have to overtake but you should hold back and yield to oncoming vehicles if the space is too tight. Another option is to overtake them slowly.
