Honestly I actually appreciate that at least one of the girls doesn’t love Hajime in the Island Mode ending. It feels a bit more realistic and sort of refreshing, and it’s really important to Peko that she has a good friend in Hajime. yeah no. friendzoning is pretty close to leading someone on. in fact i think its vain and cruel, if not at the very least oblivious. even if the one whos interested knows the other is interested in someone else. being friends is one thing, but when one party makes it pretty clear they're interested in the other, its for the best that its made clear that it wont happen. that way the one whose interest isnt reciprocated can move on with their lives.
