Overall Ultra Despair Girls is a solid spinoff while the plot isn't the most amazing and there are some rather uncomfortable moments the dynamic between Toko and Komaru really makes the game shine.

Ultra despair girls is a pretty good game in my opinion. Toko' s character development was great! I loved that it was some sort of like shooting game as well! The fact that You could see some of the relatives of the danganronpa characters in dr1 was pretty exciting. That is my opinion on ultra despair girls.

Well Ultra Despair Girls is a good game tbh, yeah It is a very different game than the rest of the games but I think it did a very good job at showing the outside of the walls of Hope's Peak Academy and introduced the relatives of the original 16. So In short It's a very good game but not my favorite.

The gameplay was pretty basic but I liked that, I was able to focus more on what the world was, how the Tragedy actually impacted the world first person instead of through photos. It was both lighthearted and really disturbing at the same time, that felt perfect for the series. I also liked seeing Junkos impact, how she manipulated people at their most vulnerable and tried to make them see her "light" aka despair. I went from game to game straight away, so It felt more real to have a game visualise what we were told at the end of both THH and GBD. I could probably write more but I doubt many will stop to read my ramblings, anyways, this is just how I feel about the game. If your're coming to UDG for good gameplay then you'll probably wanna look elsewhere, but if you like story and digging deeper to find more meaning then you'll probbaly like it, as an extra to the series it does a good job.
