Out of all the shippings in Danganronpa this is my favorite (Now if you excuse me I'm going to cry in my bed again.)

You know, I think the majority of the fan base thinks that development is when you know more of the character's backstory and much more of the personality. And I think that's why Kaede's FTE's looks initially like waifu baitness. But, if you watch out for the circumstances of the killing game, you'll see that Kaede is always like that with Shuichi. Her relationship with everyone else was always something different, but good. And their (Kaede and Shuichi) friendship comes when each one tries to improve in some way and the other helps in the process too, but little things like emotional dreams (making everyone smile, making a duet) or problems (like fearing to reveal the truh, being too shy or being a dramatic piano freak) are a good start to these two. Also, they share similar traces of personality, like caring about the other people's hearts and emotions, and being ironic in a silenty manner; and also share some opposite traces of personality, like one being carefree and the other being the overthinking guy. Sure, they don't talk much about their backstories because that's not the right time to do this. They talk about something cute or beautiful so naturally, but at the same time much strangely that you gotta remember their relationship in chapter 1 to understand how much is natural their talks are. That and Chapter 1 (and the whole game) is why I ship these two so hard. Even when Kaede looks like dead, I'm still in denial and think about she's gonna appear alive in the future by some foreshadowing reason in the game; because these two are my favorites characters right now. I loved these two and their relationship. Maybe you think I'm crazy or a fanboy, but when Chapter 1 happened and I cried a lot, I thought that DrV3 has already beaten the past games by far in that point.

This would have put a LOT of time to do as well before releasing it but they should have done two path for this game, one with Shuichi as the protag and the other one with Kaede as the protag, this could have been interresting to see these two in the killing game, trying to solve each case and to escape at the end (with other scenario for both the one who kill and the one who get kill at each chapter), but this would have been difficult to do for the story and a LOOOOOOT of time to do these things, but seriously i would have loved to see that.

This is a rant about their pairing. Not a lot of famous mystery writers and detectives are talented musicians, it's just how it is. So they have to a lot of research or get someone that knows what they're doing. Kaede and Shuichi's isn't an "opposites attract" relationship, it's more of they're making up for they're weaknesses. The difference is making up for their weaknesses is situational and isn't meant to last long term, but the opposites attract makes one whole and is capable of being long term.

You're wrong! Actuall, I don't believe that "opposites attract" is the only good foundation for the relationship. The couple should still have some similarities to understand each other better. A good balance of similarities and differences makes a solid ground for a healthy relationship, because the couple can not only learn from each other, but also have something that is uniting them, maybe similar hobbies, views and especially important they should have compatible or same values. That's why I believe that this pairing is a good one. They are, in fact, somewhat opposed. Kaede is optimistic and bossy, while Shuichi is more shy and passive. And they definitely are making up for each others weaknesses. But their relationship could work as a long term relationship and Kaede's fte perfectly depict that. They want to learn more about each other and they take interest in each other's hobbies, while still being different, which is, I believe a good foundation for a healthy relationship. Sorry, I have no idea why I wrote this whole rant to a... Well, I guess I just leave this here.

Same, this was well done with the Truth and Lie theme of the game, letting you think she was going to be the protag of this game when it was just a Lie and to boost Shuichi goal to escape with the others, to protect them etc...but at the same time it would have been interresting to see how she could have done the things that Shuichi did to solves each cases and to escape with the others, this would have been soooo fucking interresting to see. Well they could have done two path for the game, one with Shuichi and one with Kaede, but this would have been a fucking LOOOONG time before being finished and a LOT of time before releasing it, so....yeah pretty difficult indeed.
