You are deceiving people by showing video content that doesn't exist in the towns such as homeless camps skyscrapers. I think you are using video of larger cities in other states . You may be right on your percentage of unemployment, schools etc but its dishonest to show video that won't be found in these towns

My former boss (RIP David) and i built more pools in Greenwood and Abbeville than any other county we worked in in the 3 years i worked for him before his passing. The people are generally friendly and outgoing. Heck, we even built the sheriff of Greenwood a small pool about 2 1/2 years ago who was also very personable. Both have some historic sites as well. All in all, you painted a bleaker picture of these 2 areas than what i witnessed. While i didnt live in either place, a significant portion of my time over 2 years was spent there

Oddly enough a lot of "Worst 10 places in South Carolina" have Abbeville, Clinton, Greenwood, Georgetown, Chester and Union - this is the first "10 Worst" I've seen that has Batesburg-Leesville on the list.

Damn it man! It's pronounced Lanc-is-ter NOT Lan-caster! You ain't from around there are you? By the way, the original settlers of Lancaster and York Counties were from PA. To this day natives of Lancaster, PA pronounce it Lanc-is-ter.

Ancestors of mine, on the maternal and paternal side of the family shrub, settled in York and Lancaster Counties SC as well as what are now Mecklenburg, Union, and Anson Counties NC. While The Lovely Bride and I were still living in Maryland we frequently made the short drive to historic Lancaster County PA and not once did we hear the county name pronounced "Lan-caster" by natives even though TV news people seemed determined to pronounce it that way.

It's not pronounced Lance-is-ter. The correct pronunciation is Lan-caster. Just because locals pronounce it a certain way does NOT mean it's correct. Locals often pronounce words and names on par with their education level, or lack thereof. FYI, there is no such thing as the grocery "stoe" but, there is a grocery stoRe. We can't close the "doe" but, we can close the dooR. People from Lancaster PA pronounce the name how it's spelled....Lan-caster.

@@Placeitinmybox1 Let's try this again. Lanc or Lank-is-ter. NOT Lan-caster. We must have been in two distinctly different counties in PA to have heard it pronounced Lan-caster. The only people we ever heard pronounce the city and county name Lan-caster were not from there but were clearly attempting to sound more sophisticated than they actually were. TV reporters were the worst. It was truly irritating to hear TV reporters mangle by way of mispronunciation the proper spelling of a community near where The Lovely Bride and I grew up by adding an otherwise nonexistent "s" to the name of the family that first settled and established the area as a farming community, trading post, and later post office.
