Lou Reed considered the guitar playing on "Danger Bird" to be the best he had ever heard, stating "It makes me cry, it is the best I have heard in my life. The guy is a spectacular guitarist, those melodies are so marvelous, so calculated, constructed note to note… he must have killed to get those notes. It puts my hairs on end!”.

Neil is most CERTAINLY one my ABSOLUTE favourite guitarists. For his rhythm and riffs, AND his remarkable soloing. I didn't know LOU said that. I love it.

So glad I've got tickets for July 29th. He's played Dangerbird now 5x on this tour. Most shows he's playing Cortez the Killer and Like a Hurricane together, which is very rare in and of itself. He's played those 2 plus Dangerbird in the same show ....which only happened once before this tour: 1990 three hour Catalyst show, that Rust Bucket 📀

Like that's amazing that his song lineup keeps changing throughout his to her it's actually a really good because he has so many incredible songs and certainly this one is one that really I don't think was in the original lineup of the songs. I know I hope that he plays this when I see him at the Bowl with my buddy Tom Chambers we will see
