Exactly. I love this family but I'm not sure what Ricky trying to get at here. We've all had contaminated food before. Im concerned that Ricky would rather say he was poisoned instead of having a qualified doctors report verify that. Take it one step further ive seen you guys go from eating out take aways, later having cakes, different types of cakes mind you, then trying different sugary drinks. That's immune system suicide and there's only so much your body can take. With respect, sir.

Rickey got it honestly ❤, I’m very conscious about my food also. I wouldn’t have eaten anything if I saw 👀 anyone touching their mouth around my food without washing their hands. I’m constantly washing my hands when I’m handling food

People! Hes not saying that people there were intentionally trying to poison him. He was not putting anyone down in any way. Hes sharing an experience that he had at a particular restaurant...stop being so darn sensitive like he's trying to paint a bad image of Africa or african people. The rude comments are so unnecessary! In American food poisoning doesn't mean someone tried to kill you. It just mean that you ate contaminated food....which result in vomiting.. diarrhea....fever...etc. Sometimes it can come from the food itself being contaminated or improper handwashing among other things. Oh well, you ok now, happens to all if us at least once. I got food poisoning from a burger too from a fast food drive through. Still get food there and not had food poisoning again. Can happen anywhere. Its the risk we take when eating out unfortunately. I eat well done meat to kill the bacteria.

Its not that they were eating and touching your food its the fact that the meat wasnt well done. I went to cancun and was given the option of medium burger, which i turned down. In jamaica and canada, ground beeg has to be well done. Its not a piece of steak!Ground beef is made out of “trimmings,” which are pieces of beef that are trimmed off a primal cut to make the slice of beef look more desirable in the meat counter. Trimmings may include whole muscle meat, which are boneless without cartilage or heavy connective tissue.

Excellent video! Pedro's in Jewel City, Johannesburg. They opened that place up brand new, and in a month they closed it twice due to electricity issues plus load shedding and opened it back up, so I decided to eat there one day, and while eating, I felt that something was wrong with the sauce. I was hungry, so I finished my meal, and late that night, food poisoning hit me hard. Two straight days of diarrhea and cold chills It took me two weeks and a half for my body to get back to normal.

Ummm I would have left. There are times when I have seen unsavory things at restaurants and I call it out and don't eat. I've had food poisoning before and I am so thankful I went to the urgent care because whatever the Dr. gave me was a life saver. It knocked me out and knocked out that horrible pain. Hey Joneses I know how you felt Ricky it happened to me with a hamburger that was medium rare as well! I had projectile vomiting 🤮 I had to go to hospital they said I had stomach bug ! No more burgers for me in SA!!!1

The fact that you and your wife still ate the food seeing what they were doing in the kitchen as they were preparing your meal got me scratching my head and asking the question why! Adam at that forbidden fruit despite GOD telling him not to because of his wife. And you at that meat after GOD showed you how unsanitized the cooks were as they were licking their fingers and handling your food without washing their hands, but you just like Adam, you decided to eat it anyway despite knowing better because of your wife; and because of this decision, you got food poisoning.

It is the hamburger on another occasion I brought hamburger from checkers and I fixed it at home I know I am a great cook. I got sick for the second time! No more hamburger meat in SA ! I’m thinking the quality is tainted possibly from load shedding as some one mentioned! Glad you are better it was brutal I know!!!1

We call it food poisoning in SA as well - you go to a restaurant or to a function and after eating food, you have stomach issues for days. That's what some of us have always called it, so it's not different to the US. Maybe other people have not called it that before, not really sure.
