It's really sad how many underrated visual-kei bands would disband after making a few mvs and albums due to that many stay popular only in japan and the less supporters they have that actually buy their albums and merch, all the money goes to their costume designs, makeup artists and the production of the music videos they make, they put a lot of effort into their songs with deep meanings and hard to translate as well since many visual kei bands don't really put the english translation of the song lyrics. Plus the fact that there are so many visual-kei bands that may compete with each other and also the generation that we have as of now, not many are familiar with this genre and it truly is underrated. There are only a few visual-kei bands that got popular outside of japan but later on some disbanded as well, basically they make these wonderful masterpiece in each of their music videos, the efforts they put in with each emotion and deep meaning. I love Visual kei for a very long time and I have little to know info about some bands I listen to since sadly a lot of visual-kei bands and artists keep their real life information private so it's hard for some of the visual-kei fans and stans to keep up. Many visual kei bands are hidden or forgotten or even memorable for like only one song or two due to that they don't really earn well in their jobs especially this quarantine and plus the type of music a lot of people listen to such as kpop, pop music, rap music and etc. alongside western fans or fans in other countries that listen to v-kei Soooo- in short visual-kei bands and artists deserves more attention and how underrated they are with their masterpieces.

same! this is one of the first vk songs i've ever heard, and tbh, vk is one of the most underrated styles out there. i was never a huge fan of rock when i was younger, mainly due to the screamo stereotype (plus, i'm not a big fan of a lot of noise) so this is basically a more "peaceful" version (i suppose), which i absolutely loved! (sorry for any spelling mistakes, english is not my first language ^^)

I happen to like MCR. Not enough to worship them or burn fake fans at the stake, though I've met plenty who are that way lol. I'm not the type with rainbow hair and tattooed-on eyeliner typing rawr in every comment if that's your main concern. Not all of us are that way. I just like the meaning of the music, as I happen to like several other bands for the very same reason. Look the point here is, I like MCR, that doesn't mean you have to. I also like this band, and commented on similarities and how it's possible they were influenced. I could be wrong. I could be right. But unless you've met this band personally, and spoken to them about a mutual hatred of MCR you both share, I doubt either of us will ever know whether or not MCR was an artistic inspiration. All cards on the table here, can you honestly tell me you'd hate this band if they were influenced by MCR, simply because you dislike MCR and the fans who take things too far?
