There was also Luna Sea, a alternative rock band. Malice Mizer, a gothic rock, and synthpop band. Saber Tiger, a heavy metal band. L'arc En Ciel, a alternative rock band. And many more. The music style of Visual Kei can range from pop rock to black metal. The visual kei style was based on glam metal, but has changed a bit. The style borrows things from Gothic fashion, Punk Fashion, Glam, etc... but falls into it's own style itself. Educate yourself on the history of the music and style before you call it ''emo''.
