I got chased from Bradford back into North Yorkshire when I was younger, I had just filled up in Bradford, I didn't realise it was the police following me @ 150mph until I got to Boroughbridge and overtook a truck and pulled infant off it and seen a West Yorkshire police car came along side me, I floored it again came off at Dishforth and about 6 North Yorkshire coppers were lined up ready to pounce and helicopter above me, I got boxed in a bit further down the road. Anyway that was in 2005 I've learnt my lesson.

@@jamesmason8905 I have only ever had negative experiences with the police in my area, due to them being threatening, intimidating, disrespectful and corrupt even. I have had Surrey police attempt to solicit a bribe from me over a cannabis grinder. When I was 17 they stopped me one night down a country road and threatened to take me down the station over the grinder, unless I pay an on the spot fine of £40 (the exact amount I had in my wallet), but I refused. They took my phone, wallet and ID, before one of them kneed me in the bollocks hard, knocking me to the floor, and then put his boot on my head, before threatening to come to my house off duty as he knew my address. They made me stand up again and gave me back my belongings, before the bigger cop kneed me in the bollocks again a second time and then they both drove off, leaving me on the floor. I had bad bruising to my penis and thighs from the attack. However a few days later, I saw them both sitting outside my house in their car again, on the opposite side of the street. The same two officers, staring at my address. Trying to intimidate me no doubt.

i learnt to drive on a tractor when i was 12yrs old. it was an old 4 pot diesel Fergie from the late 50s. i was raised on a farm in Cornwall. i always drove with care and respect. one day i was returning to the farm (i was 14yrs old) i got stopped by the police. after a brief chat he let me carry on. things were like that back in the 70s....

When i was 12, I was being chased out of the local park by a group of lads. They set this big dog on me, never ran so fast in my life 😂 It ended well, one of my neighbours was out driving and they could see me running and obviously knew there was a problem because of the speed and they saw the dog, realised my fears about dogs and then spun the car onto the pavement behind me to block the dog and the group of lads and just had a massive go at them. Moved away a few months later but yeah that's what I was doing aged 12, not stealing cars 😂😂

An in-law of mine is a Police Officer in our local British Police Service. Just before he transferred into Traffic he was sent to a motor vehicle incident, where a 16 year old, who was well known to the Police, had stolen the car of an elderly couple. This lad had a list of offences as long as your arm, going back to when he was first old enough to be charged at aged 10 (the age of criminal responsibility). The TWOC (Taken Without Owners Consent) was reported within minutes of it occurring. After the theft was reported over the airwaves, an Officer reported back that the car was in front of him. He turned on his blues, but not the sirens. The lad immediately put his foot on the accelerator, but couldn’t get very far because he was on a dual carriageway which was filtering down to a single lane. He shot through red lights and hit another car, which had right of way, sending that car spinning. Luckily, apart from a few bruises, the driver and passenger in that car were okay. However, the thief was not wearing a seatbelt and, because of the speed he was going, when he hit the other vehicle, his chest was crushed by the steering wheel and he was (medically) decapitated when he was thrown back into the seat. It was unbelievable when people were posting comments in local media about what an angel he was and how he was too good to go. His mother (no sign of a father, surprise, surprise) tried to blame the Police, but there were so many cameras recording and the other car that was hit had dashcam and caught it, so all that was laid to rest. The next thing, they tried to Crowdfund to pay for his funeral. Don’t think they raised much though.

I was 10 years old. I had a Gokart that could do 20km/h flat out. I used to drive it along the road from my home to a paddock my family owned. The distance from home to paddock was about 100 metres. I'm scooting along with my oversized motorcycle helmet low over my eyes and this Traffic cop pulls alongside and toots his horn at me. I cut the throttle, waited until he overshot me, then gunned it and turned into the gateway of the paddock and kept going. Cop was out of his car watching me racing around the paddock for a good ten minutes before he gave up. Basil Robbins was his name. He later took me for my drivers licence test. He never mentioned my past criminal acts. 1960's New Zealand. Good times ! I later became a Traffic cop myself but Basil had retired by then. I could tell you some stories......
