Here on the other side of the Pond, there are "turkey bags" you can put a turkey in when roasting. They were designed to keep the juices in and they work! The result is much moister meat. Perhaps I'll have to pop a box in the post to you if you think you'd want it! All the best.

Those bags work very well!!! Made sure to have those bags.after a horribly dry turkey one year. The best tasting turkey I have eaten was cooked in a smoker. Any meat cooked in a smoker is just fantastic.

That shilling was in lovely condition I've got an old 3pence from 1897 but someone used it as a pendent an put a hole right through the top 😕 but I still wear it on my necklace. There's just something about really old silver coins that I really love. Thanks for another great video ❤

Turkey dry? Nah....not if you don't overcook it. In the U.S., most of the commercial turkeys are injected with a brine or veg stock. But if you brine your bird and roast it correctly, it should be nice and juicy when you go to dine (don't forget to let it rest after coming out of the oven.)

I never had a dry turkey when my mom or father used to cook for holidays. In America. They are slow killing us with our foods here so EVERYTHING has other ingredients in it. Even the chickens they are gigantic. Am I right? Lol

I found it make turkey more moist throughout if you ensure any stuffing is well hydrated & turn it over near the end of the cooking time.

@@ashlingofAsh7580 I won’t eat chicken anymore. I used to eat two chicken breasts, bone in as a kid and loved it. Now, Chicken breasts are huge and tough, woody texture and disgusting. I used to buy whole chicken from the local Hutterite community and they were lovely but I had a brain aneurysm a few years ago and can’t drive anymore.

If you want a nice juicy turkey, use a cooking bag. Stuffing helps too, I put Italian sausage and apples in my bread stuffing. It cooks a lot faster in the bag too 👨‍🍳
