When I almost died twice in one year, by taking needle drugs. I had no choice but to become strong (warrior) . To go through the darkness to save my life. It's a nightmare that most can't comprehend. You have to look deep within to battle the darkness.

I respect the samurais' devotion to perfection and discipline. As Miyamoto Musashi said: "Temper yourself with 1,000 days of practice, and refine yourself with 10,000 days of training." I think many today can learn from their way of life, which inspired me to devote my channel to their philosophy. Thank you for sharing 🙏🔥

A warriors ultimate desire... Is peace. This man echoes all that I have ever felt. I walked away from being special operations for my family but still joined the military cause the fight and deserve to serve has always been there. However, I've always been drawn to the philosophy of Tibetan Monks because I see it as the ultimate peace. The only philosophy that lies beneath those I have for my family, for my military career, and for those of the society that I serve. Lose everything today, tomorrow - that philosophy would remain. The ultimate desire or philosophy try to incorporate is simplicity. To find peace is to find simplicity and the condition of simply being. Discipline is but a service in that pursuit. Service to others is but a temporary sacrifice in that pursuit. I don't know if I'll ever achieve it. But there is hope. And hope is sometimes all people need to keep them moving forward.

Recently someone I grew up with behaved and treated me in the way they treated me when growing up. Anger, hurt, and disbelief is what I felt. But now I see after much thought and meditation, that this incident served as a reminder or how far I've come, through recognizing truth/ non-truth, discipline, perseverance in attacking the true enemy within. Tu Lam's words spoke volumes to me. The enemy still lives in me and I must be diligent.

If I was somewhere I could decide upon all of my doings myself and my decisions weren't cut off by others, I'm certain I'd develop similarly. Would assist to have the mind of a warrior. A thought emerged one day: To become a 'big player' one does need more than others, both in one's mind and in one's body. This again demands others to supply one with more and them more to be told than being told by them. The day this supply ends things would turn and one becomes the same as them; but they are many and remember.. I said to myself to survive with least possible means thus might be wise ;) A question: If there are many equally possible truth, isn't one urged to decide by emotion ? And then doesn't emotion change or add even more possible truth ? Certainly all truth is suspicion as is emotion. Therefore they are optional, but a path along those isn't :) One has some truth, one does have emotions about undefined amount of truth, but one walks a path. (To dive deeper into this: One can't even separate, because truth is also an emotion, the awareness/feeling of probability of intelligence of an entity) Thanks for the hint of writing down what bothers one. Could result in a less filled up head and more sheets of paper. In long term this might help. That's also why I made my youtube-channel; to empty my head and leave more space for other thoughts there ;)

Our will is causally defined by our emotions, which then in time instill certain parameters within which contribute to our will and actions. Emotions aren't been produced willingly by one, rather they automatically "spring"; That means that emotions is not a willful product of one's self. But truth, in the classical sense, is mostly outside of us, it exists as a standalone. Suspicion can help in uncovering undefined truths through reason. The warrior mindset is not about assisting, it is rather about defining one's rough edges imo and about discipline and refinement of one's mind; has a cause in itself. Maybe warrior mindset is about developing the ability to deviate from doing something unwillingly and thus being able to comply with the truth. But I'm curious, as to how do you think that suspicion and emotion is truth?
@timidpeter
@timidpeter Жыл бұрын
@@irisr7704 Suspicion and emotion have their origin in ones mind/ones brain which develops a temporary perspective one does consider truth, until former again develop new truth. I doubt truth is mostly outside of us. One does project the 'outside' into a truth inside oneself frequently.. About warrior mindset i agree in most parts with you: It is rather to chase one truth until one is satisfied (whichever way) to have proven oneself this truth will without doubt reoccur in ones set of truths in future (if it will one might call oneself an extremist;P ) Now, if I claim each lifeform to be a warrior: How will the warrior fighting other lifeforms succeed over those warriors rather fighting themselves (i.e. bacteria,viruses, they change their rna in a shorter amount of time) which soon can't be made out as target anymore by the first mentioned warrior. The target of the first warrior is all but him, all but the path to his current truth. Targets of second type of warriors is all sorts of truth within themselves; not only one currently picked. In my mind the latter ones better adapt to all other lifeforms than the former one will have temporarily chiseled it's truth onto latter ones... The more perspectives a lifeform considers truth, the higher the probability of this lifeforms rna to include this information of truth. And thus to survive whatever comes next ?
@irisr7704
@irisr7704 Жыл бұрын
@@timidpeter I appreciate your example of lifeforms. Now then, consider a somewhat similar situation; The second type of warrior used to love tasting other lifeform's chisels and started incorporating those alongside with one's own temporary sets of perspectives (let's say one's own subjective 'truth') and store them in an internal library so to say, with the intent of utilizing this perceived set of knowledge (maybe parts of it being universal even) across a myriad of situations after categorizing, differentiating and transforming each piece under different colourings so they would fit at a given situation. Survival then should be guaranteed. But if you pause here for a second you may find yourself imagining that this warrior's taste-buds begin to grow dull as the shelves get fuller, and I don't know much about biology or rna, but doesn't that mean that this warrior will eventually start developing a hunger for its own kin? What about the first type of warrior if the supply of other warriors ceases? Will the latter one start nibbling at one's own flesh and bone? Is it then about survival or evolution?
@timidpeter
@timidpeter Жыл бұрын
@@irisr7704 My assumption is each taste-bud grows dull; especially one chiseled somewhere amongst taste-buds in an infinite set of colors. The latter warrior always nibbles at one's own flesh and bone in comparison to chisel-warrior which nibbles at latter warrior's flesh and bone. One single chiseled taste-bud might survive for a longer period of time, but not forever. The colorfull taste-buds survive forever; because they inherit the loss and gain of the chiseled taste-bud. Furthemore a solution to latter. More a matter of time thus: To leave a legacy for undefined time or to simply live and create new taste-buds (with or without this legacy) Sorry, it is difficult to read, maybe I edit later ;) May I ask if you can explain life on the desert or in the arctic after several thousand years of nothing? Whom has this life been fighting against? I suppose itself. There only was itself.. What I feel about it is: Growing older one realizes to ever have been all around oneself and this loss of identity makes one want to leave a legacy of oneself before becoming all around oneself :) To avoid fear I recommend 'Nick keomahavong' or Muho
@irisr7704
@irisr7704 Жыл бұрын
@@timidpeter I don't disagree with you, in fact I agree with most you said, especially about the the colorful tastebuds. That example was mainly about something else better left unsaid in a youtube com anyway :) The life in the desert or the arctic could be fighting a force i.e nature itself(?) falling into a loop of actually fighting itself since it is too a part of the very nature it's fighting. But let me understand one thing; If one realizes that one has only ever been circling oneself isn't the wise thing to do to get better acquainted and fight themselves even harder before considering the time matter you introduced? I mean, do you think there have to be perquisites before one starts fighting oneself? An end-game? Or did the time-matter refer specifically to the previous mentioned example?
