Where you built your ladder to float over the pink bamboo was a cave entrance that lets you go under the area you flew over. Some small spiders, hatchers, spitters, and a few low level hogs. You actually came up to the back entrance earlier.

I played four hours of a new start, inspired by Pearl's 'new game joy'. Challenge: Zero damage run. ZERO dead plants! Also, no looking at the online map. I played four hours, had to reload to a terrible autosave once after accidental leaf harvesting. The plan was to manually craft to get the mam, then use alien remains as fuel. It turned out that ficsmas made farming enemies unnecessary by gifting 20 alien protien! I got minimal coal power up, 4/min modular frames, and went to bed.

Wow Pearl, you are such an artist. Went to watch the fish drawing someone mentioned and I was in awe. You have such a talented way with colors, I've also seen it on your hermitcraft builds. (and thanks for all the VODs, really enjoying your satisfactory playthrough)

Advice re: starter base. You will SCALE in this game. Use the starter base until you have steel and m2 miners and m3 belts. Then, still leave the old junk, and use splitters from the now-m2 miners to fuel a new factory somewhere else nearby. (I like above.) You can demolish the starter base either all at once when it's entirely redundant, or one production line at a time. The remaining starter-scale production lines act as a checklist for building bigger and better.

Tip: I’m new to this game also but find movement very important. I’ve created the power towers with platforms across key areas and I use the zip line feature. You need to unlock the zip line and make in equipment workshop. I don’t use the jetpack or vehicles yet.

Tip - not sure if you’ve done this but converting animal parts into protein and dna capsules gives lots of coupons pretty quickly

Really nice to see you try out Satisfactory, love the game. I want give one tip only cause I think the beauty of this game is also learning it on your own: Feed, pet, befriend the lizard doggos, they can bring you some very good items. Edit: You also might enjyo slide-jumping as a movement option. If you crouch while sprinting you slide and jumping out of a slide gives a nice velocity boost. If you do it right Satisfactory can feel like a parkour game.

Love this game, I dont know if it was suggested to you already but since you have some Summersloops to spare I'd recomend usring them in a seperate Constructor for doubling your output from Slugs and Proteins, they can also be super useful in an assembler to speed up the elevator parts by alot.
