So, I think the first game to include a "You've been playing for a long time..." feature was Stronghold, and it was hilarious. I still remember the AI coming up and saying, "My Lord, you haven't slept in days!" I almost fell out of my chair, laughing so hard.

Holding E works. You just have to initially press E on a plant/ wood and then hold it while you move.

Exactly correct. I have several thousand hours between this game's EGS and Steam versions. I bought it a second time when it came to Steam because I like to have all my games on Steam if I can and I decided I like the game so much that buying a second time was worth it! I found out myself that if you let go of the e-key then you have to hold it down again on the next bush, You can still use the chain saw just do not ease up on the e-key because it is a toggle switch.

I found while you run, on the first bit of leaves you need to tap, but after that you hold it down and it works, so I only needed to tap once and its good.

Came here to say this. Just make sure you're looking at leaves when you press E, but then hold the key down and you'll hoover up everything as you run around and not need to repeatedly tap E

Also if you hold E after collecting leaves then enter the inventory and let go of E and close inventory it will keep collecting until you press e again

I never played along in U8 with your series, but I did try building the coal power plant in my 1.0 playthrough. There's a huge geyser in the middle of it now. There should be no problem lining everything up, but you'll have to move your extractors and pipes around to make it all fit.

Yeah, what you said at the end makes sense, we don't know anything about Earth really, just what ADA tells us... Definitely sinister... Something that hit me was when ADA asks during the onboarding about your memories, and then later says that it's normal to not have them and that FICSIT considers having memories of humans or beloved animals as a distraction for pioneers. So they even completely wipe pioneers' memories of their lives before sending them on these missions... keeps them focused on their task I guess, but also means they could be told anything about what's happening on Earth and not know any better.

I’m a bit surprised that a Satisfactory player of your level isn’t aware that you can hold E and auto grab leaves and wood without having to spam it. The trick is you press E to pick up that first batch of leaves, then keep holding it down while moving about. It really does work.

I find you can gather even quicker than Hold E, by mashing W and E and looking around quickly. Also, once you get chainsaw both are obsolete.

I like to build two constructors for bio mass. One for wood and one for leaves. That way you don’t have to keep switching.

Just getting into the game, been trying to figure out ratios and general game flow on my own but the stress of managing my ore nodes, maintaining enough space and generally making enough to supply the tier upgrades is getting a bit much. So I’m aiming to learn what I can to smoothen out the process from your streams :D Might see if I can join a stream at some point since I’ve still got a fair few questions that have piled up after my 8 hours so far.

Anyone else get super nauseous with how fast he slide-jumps? When I play the game myself I slide for about a quarter of a second before I jump, but he jumps like 1 frame after the slide starts and it’s super nauseating. Everything else is great though

@@ItsNekotaku i know slide jumps are ideal. I do them as well, but the sheer speed that he inputs them. The instant jerk, moving the camera down to crouch then shooting up in less than 5 frames is just nauseating

larger production lines reduces wait time, where you can throw in some manual crafting if you feel the need. At that stage manual is still faster than using the factory.
