This is such a delightful animatic! I really love your more laid back Hermes design and your portrayal of his and Odysseus' relationship. It feels like a genuine friendship, with Odysseus visibly perking up as soon as he realizes it's Hermes and matching Hermes' upbeat, determined tone. Plus, that hug at the end was absolutely adorable. Great work on this one!

I really like how you have Hermes dominate the space he's in. Hermes is a flying character, and the way you utilize it is wonderful. He really takes over the air while he flies and exists comfortably, which is really cool, especially with an immortal character such as he.

I don't know how much to express that i love this!!! It's so upbeat yet with a subtle shuffle to keep things light yet on tract since Ody has been through a rough twenty years lol. That hug, the twiddling, the shark smacks and bonks!? Absolutely perfection. I like that Hermes gets startled by Ody already pushing off the shore while his back is turned and having to zip back to him 😂 Such gremlin friendship and i adore it.

This is such a good animatic! Maybe my favorite for Dangerous...? I love the way these two goof around. Hermes tries to scare Odysseus but all he gets is a blank stare, and then a shark pops up and scares both of them. It's so funny and cute!

Hermes with the chunky glasses and his gap-teeth is adorable, and his moves and expressions are just perfect! Love this depiction, especially how he doesn't have his eyes covered the whole time and his own nervousness about presenting his dangerous plan to Odysseus only for Ody to be so totally down that he almost takes off without Hermes! Also depicting Penelope as Ody's North Star is just adorable, love it! And the little glimpses of Odysseus's confidence being out of ruthlessness/becoming the monster with the glimpse of a red eye in Herme's visor at 2:14 and Ody's red eyes as he starts to sing are just beautiful. Great work!

They are so very expressive and it's so adorable and it makes this an incredibly fun watch!! Great stuff :D Also i kinda love how you went with a decidedly less flirty Hermes than most animatics depict, I think both are fun, but it's definitely harder to have him be that platonic if everyone else has him be kinda teasing since the perception of the viewer is clouded with predetermined expectations. As said, both versions are great and I love how adorable your Hermes is :D!

I love that you showed the light sparking back into Odysseus’ eyes when he did his verse. Because that’s what this is. Hermes telling him to get out of his funk, not focus on the past (at least for now) and do what he’s known for: being clever. The song starts with Ody defeated and depressed. Focused on what he’s lost and the fact that he’s never getting home. He’s been stagnant for seven years and can’t get out. But this song is Hermes sparking that cleverness and live back into him! Kicking his butt out of his depression! And sometimes that’s what you need! Someone to tell you to keep moving, you got this. And that light coming into Ody’s eyes is exactly how I imagine that!

The single red eye in the reflection of Hermes' shades. And then the hint of it in "Don't you know that danger is my friend?" Like, the whole thing is fun and cutesy and played for laughs but it's those small moments that remind you that this is still very real danger but Ody is also not one to be played with anymore.
