This 4G box does not require a leak proof liner. When using 4G packaging it must be packed and assembled in exactly the same way as was during the approved testing process, otherwise you will invalidate the certification and compromise the inners during transport. This specific packaging design was tested and UN approved with the use of the partitions and vermiculite as shown in the video.

That is Vermiculite, not stone.

Vermiculite is very light, and would not contribute significantly to the weight of the package - little more than plastic peanuts would.
