Sources like this channel actually make it easy to stay within known guidelines. #3, nobody has all the answers where pet nutrition is concerned, or human nutrition either for that matter! Idk if you know this but you can get the exact same beef marrow bones for probably a third of the price you’re paying for the Bones and Co ones. You can buy them at a lot of regular grocery stores (sometimes you have to ask the butcher bc they keep them in the back). They’ll even cut them for you to whatever size you want. Butcher shops also have them. I’ve been buying them at my local Asian market though bc they’re even cheaper there then they are at the grocery stores or butcher shops. Excessive weight is the symptom of metabolic syndrome, not the cause. Iyou refer to the biology book, you will see that carbs and sugar raise insulin, which sequesters fat and also shuts down the body's ability to telease fat from adipose tissue. constant high insulin levelsresult in insulin resistance, which can at some point cause the brain to lose its ability to access energy, resulting in old-timers syndrome. Iour critters are fat, we are not feeding them a species apopropriate diet, dogs are carnivores, and should not have carbs or sugar.

I use virgin coconut oil, especially on our two dogs who had fungal infection in their ears. It actually works and cleared out the infection. So I use it now for maintenance (putting a few drops into the ears monthly) and when cleaning the ears when needed. I used it daily to clean our two dogs' ears when they had the infection and then put some more into the ears after cleaning, and rubbed the base of their ears to make sure it went inside to fight off fungi and even ear mites if present (it is safe since the dogs will just shake it off and the oil will naturally come out).

I soaked a cotton round in the solution and sat it over any actual ringworm for a couple of minutes.. they all cleared completly with in 3 weeks. Wait wait wait I'm sorry I have to say this I enjoy hearing your videos they're very informative but as somebody who does study herbalism and aromatherapy, I have to say essential oils is not a blanket term.! Actually essential oils are so much more than just the oils that they extract because what it is is that little bottle of essential oils that little tiny bottle that you pay for it is so expensive because it takes 100 lb of rose petals to make 1 oz of rose essential oil. Now some of these are much easier to get and take much less from the plant to get some of these take much more to get. But the point that I'm making is essential oils are very very very very very very strong they should not ever be taken lightly it is not like peppermint extract or vanilla extract that you can get at the grocery store they are two totally different things, even when you go to get the oils like I have oregano oil that is not oregano essential oil because it is mixed with a carrier oil therefore making it so it is not nearly as strong. Essential oils are very very strong you have dogs and cats who sense of smell is so much stronger than ours, when they are smelling these essential oils it is so much stronger than it is to us. Not to mention if they lick them they're taking into them this concentrated amount so yes be very very very very very careful with essential oils around pets please. I'm not just talking about cats and dogs, birds, turtles, rats, hamsters, you get the hint all of our pets are furry babies. If you are in question ask somebody who knows research it. I have seen pets hurt by being exposed to pets.
