Good enough tech to drill a hole straight up through the mountain, do a partial vacuum seal to reduce drag resistance, and then send an electromagnetic cart from the bottom to the top at mach 10 as air rushes in behind the cart.

I don't play this game, so this is just a theory I would try. Maybe before trying to auto-complete the loop Try building backwards from the end all the way to the bottom of the big slope you are trying to connect So the A.I. only needs to draw a straight line going down?

Could you build backwards from the start? Like, leave what you have now minus the swirlies, and then add pieces backwards from start, building upwards from there through the barrier the same way you did the first time? The trick would be lining them up way up out of view, but you might be able to line them up where you've already started coming down.
