Range reduces attack speed with melee weapons. Melee weapons have to finish their swinging animation before they can attack again. So if the weapon goes across the entire map then you have to wait for the weapon to come back before you can attack again. TLDR: there is a thing as too much range for melee weapons

Hi DF you can enable replay wave if you loose before wave 20. This will let you retry the wave you died at. Options > Gameplay > Retry failed waves (bottom right)

There's a character that leaves a Bait in the shop every roll and that bait costs $1. When I play it I spend down to $0 buying baits whenever I run low on money. Every once in a while you'll end up with that character with like 4,000 damage, and then you'll end up with an axotyl that switches your best and worst stats- and you end up with like 4,000 armor and/or 4,000 hp, and 100 damage- which you then buy hundreds of baits to buff up again. You get comically powerful between having impossible armor and HP along with weapons like the Obliterator doing 25,000+ damage.

You don’t have to pick stuff from items that will boost your states by picking fruits, you gain the states at the end of the wave (when you absorp all items on the ground) if you fulfill the condition

18:27 The fish hook makes it so when you leave the shop (entering a new wave) there is a chance for your locked items in the shop to become cursed, so it would have been much smarter to wait for your second fish hook to get cursed since if you get another fish hook for 28 - 41 (somewhere around 36 most of the time) you would have a 100% chance to curse an item when leaving it locked which can help so much. it hurt so much to see you buy that without cursing it

LOL stop taking Range with melee weapons! A bit of range can help but having too much hurts. A melee swing cannot occur again no matter how much attack speed you have, until the previous swing has completed. The more range, the longer that takes.
