The Spike Shield actually works quite well with this character. Yes, you do not get the block, but you get spikes. Every time they hit you, you are hitting them back, and therefore healing. If you manage to get 2 or 3 and upgrading, you will be doing 30-40 damage every time they touch you

Brass knuckles and dodgy has the same kind of idea but does prevent you from taking any damage at all.

Junk Jet is also nice, a bunch of free damage and healing every turn, plus it counters reflecting enemies quite well 'cause it's just a bunch of 1 damage hits

This works I tried it and I got like 50 spikes in a few turns and died but mainly because the enemy I was facing was a boss 10 reflect

No one sees the value in the paperclip. But when you have a strength build like gaining 1 strength every time you take damage, it can be really overpowered. Especially if you get the potion that doubles your strength.

I had a beautiful run gaining 3 strength per hit to me with a double strength potion and two triples (along with about 5 ring of power+). Sadly the run ended at floor 9 from the 10 mirror boss. My record strength was 834

in the late game you take so much damage that it's impossible to tank, having guarantee strength is overall better

It's the first item per turn, not per grab. So the second claw will only have it's only item used twice if the first claw picked up nothing.

you got me addicted to this game. the furthest ive made it was 16 and I probably died to my own damage. I was doing 4 poison per hit plus a bunch of 60+dmg credit cards and a shitload of spike shields. and I had 4-5 stacks of life steal combod with 4 of the thing that makes them take damage when items were added so the only damage I could have died to was a reflect or something that hit very very hard. I really hope I win a steam key, this game is gonna be amazing

The credit card increase is permanent, but they screwed it up (like a lot of things in this game) so when you upgrade it, it resets. IT is great to get it and upgrade it the first time you can get to a blacksmith.

5:54 I just noticed that you can reroll the drop machine. IDK if it was always there ore if it's from a new patch, but you can for a few coins.

You can "reroll" it for free by editing o main menu and reloading the save and it refreshes the perks

By the way Df you might want to make a mosh pit out of your item box because I did that and I grabbed like 6 things per turn and it was DEVASTATING to most opponents just because of the raw damage coming from all of the different items. also awesome video, Keep up the great work Df!

its not really the cost of the card that is the limiting factor, its only 4 or 5 per turn. the limiting factor is how many copies you have
