If your first experience in Foxhole wasnt a bridge battle then you missed out on a timeless tradition. But the first time i played the game in seriousness was on the smaller map (many wars ago) and we were assaulting the island of what is now Handsome Hideaway. The group i was with wanted that island so bad. We eventually pushed the Wardens all the way off of it. I caught the tail end of war 83 and have been crazy about it since. Games like Foxhole that dont have any real progression for your character and you can hop on and fight or scrap for a few hours really needed more.

I haven't finished watching the video, but using explosive rockets actually hamper you because they do a lot less damage than regular rockets. Which is why it was so annoying clearing those biter nests with the spidertron and with the big asteroids. EDIT : I just saw you figured it out at 3:31:00

yeah in my mind thought the explosive rockets were better. but I guess they're more effective against grouped up enemies/asteroids

​@@veequeueyou fell for one of the many noobtraps Explosive versions of anything Red ammo Solar power Laser turrets They're all way more resource intensive or expensive for what they're than it's worth. Lasers require a sophisticated grid Solar requires thousands Red ammo is 3x the cost for less than 50% more damage Many enemies have higher explosive than physical making explosive more expensive Ohh another noobtrap red belts. Insanely expensive for what they do I don't know if I missed any

This was a fun watch! Cool seeing a different planet order than I went with, I sent myself to Vulcanus first and ended up stuck until I could: 1. Defeat at least 1 worm for access to more tungsten (enough turrets will solve any problem... it took me 80 with basic ammo) 2. Build and fuel a new launch platform It felt slow and terrible but once I had access to a single tungsten patch (and a single big drill...) the planet was quick and easy to get up and running, it's actually where I've been doing a lot of my manufacturing since copper and iron are effectively free and infinite. Having early access to Big Drills and Foundries was amazing though, I love foundries so much, why belt your resources when you can just pipe them?

On volcanus you can have one chem plant make steam and power like 10 turbines for lots of power. All fits in 1 grid of substations. And then on fulgora id recommend start setting up recyclers with quality modules ASAP. You'll want epic and legendaries parts pretty soon. Epic mech armor is so many inventory slots. Epic guns and rocket launcher ftw. Red rockets are bad for spaceship. They do more aoe damage instead of pure damage like the yellows. Edit: i see you figured that out after ur 2nd trip to aquilo.:D

normal tank shells>explosive tank shells in pure damage, but the splash damage is good for biter swarms and nauvis worms if they're grouped up, normal shell does tons of damage and pierces until it can't do more damage, physical damage upgrades boost tank shells a lot!

Well 1 day cycle on fulgora is like 3 minutes. Day cycles change based on the planet ur on.

@TrustyFishOder Ok so I just looked and 1 day on home planet (nauvis) is just under 7 minutes. I have 149:40 hours in game which is about 1,277 days. And I just got the game Oct 25th. So doing all this in 600 days is pretty impressive. Especially considering it looks like you didn't research anything before hand. Like destroying your first space platform. And worst of all, going to Gleba first, with basically nothing. I watched some "what to bring" to each planet and went with rocket silo and fuel at the very least. And went to Gleba last.
