Dango M1 Maverick Update - 3 Years Later

Have had this wallet for 5 years. Had to replace the cash band once, that was last year. The little strap that holds the closing tool, which is also a bottle opener, I have replaced twice. It is bulky and there have been times I swapped it for a thinner lighter wallet, due to clothing especially in the summer. When traveling through the airport I leave the multi tool at home. 8 out of 10. Looks good. The body is durable, the 2 straps are not.

I lost my dango d01 od green bifold in 2021, my military star card, ID, ssn card etc… bought the D03 Dtex bifold with 6” tether, love it. I ended up getting a trayvax element in black melonite steel, with steel grey leather. Love it too, the quality of the element is next level. I love Dango products and now Trayvax just as much

Awesome wallet. I added a loop on mine where the clip is in the center. I've had no problems!

Just got one this week.... it's crazy I never heard of Dango till a couple months back. I got 1 question about the sort of fail on the tool buckle.... about how long after purchase did the problem occur. Thanks!

Have the same wallet and I love it. My only gripe is the dtex will wear out. I’m pretty careful with mine and my dtex still shows signs of wear on the fold and on top of pockets

Will the flap go over your badge for normal carry? There's not many options out there for carrying badge off duty so I'm interested in this but don't really want to flash my badge around when paying for groceries.

no the flap doesn't cover the badge area. You would simply have to wear the wallet showing the other, smooth quick access side.

Turn the MT04 around with the flat piece against your cc and it will be better suited for them.

What do you suggest DTEX or leather material for this wallet which one is durable?

I'm torn between this one. The A10 and t01 but I definitely want to get the spec ops version. Also, maybe adding a little magnet to that little clasp section where the buckle goes might help?

Bro I'm in the same boat as you! I loved the m1, but hated I had to remove the multi tool to use more cards. The a10 looks like a major improvement but idk! 🤷‍♂️
