So proud of Dave beating RP1! I think the intended way of doing that last trick was to spit the shell, dismount, bounce off the shell, bounce off the cannonball AND re-grab the shell, shell jump into the power-up, and damage-boost to the goal. Well-deserved Cheese Hat!

Wow Dave, you've gotten so much better at Mario over the years. I just want you to realize how difficult the level you beat was. It threw out shell jumps like candy and even included a double shell jump, requiring the entire thing to be done in a single go. Very few players would be able to beat that level as quickly as you did. Great job!

These days, most levels people consider “good” are rom-hack style, where you can’t stop and never have any freedom. People don’t make good classic-style, yet challenging levels anymore.🙁

Kaizo players don't generally enjoy classic traditional levels. I enjoy kaizo levels personally because they push my skill levels. Also plenty of people make classic levels. They just aren't showcased by kaizo players because that's not what they enjoy.

Another definition of DGR: wear cheese hat when beating a level in intended way, and not putting cheese hat when cheesing a level. My complaint about the first level is just lack of indicators.

Does he realize the last bit was a cheese?? I think intended strat is to bounce off the shell and stop it, then bounce off the cannonball ON the shell to pick it up and do a shell jump in the air. Keeping the Yoshi was brilliant DGR!
