For those roasting DGR for saying “we will do this scientifically” and then swimming in random angles. He actually approached the problem in the most intelectual way, considering that there was a greater probability of finding the p swimming in random angles because you cover more distance in 10 seconds, instead of swimming vertically up and timing out :) He also took the level’s randomness into account and incorporated it into his method. Good job DGR !!!

Except there was literally a marker on the ground (the blue piece of texture that wasn't background) to show you exactly where to swim up. If he had to take 5 seconds to analyze the level instead of just aimlessly swimming, he would have finished it much faster. He certainly did not approach it in the most intellectual way. He just brute forced it.

Swimming around randomly is a risk. It can go well, it can go bad. If you swim up each tile space, it takes 5s, then you start over, you save a lot of time. That is what you do if you don't notice the marker (see other comment) and don't wanna risk spending forever on one level because of bad luck.
