The Girls Makes Games was actually the story of the Matrix. Mar-Neo needed to be strengthened by super powers to break through walls (thwomps), dance through fire, pick the red pill or the blue pill, and fight the final boss (of course Girl Power Wendy). Dave just picked the blue pill which he even acknowledged. Lol

The start's pretty good. Mario can't overcome his stuggles initially, so he has to go back to gain a new power. There's a story there. It's just that pick a pipe.

maybe it's just my imagination, but that looked like major cheese on the boom boom level? like, i think that was the exit to boom boom's lair, not the entrance. my guess for the entrance is that pipe buried under like half a dozen layers of on/off blocks

DGR Dave you forget one thing about the matrix. If you choose the red pill you go back to your normal life (Or in this case the end of the level) if you choose the blue pill you stay there (you start back at the beginning of the stage)

In the last level you could use a koopa shell to do a shell jump, so you didn't have to ditch Joshi there..

btw, I think you could've kept Yoshi out of that pit and bring him with you. Yoshi has some weird physics with how he jumps off of gears. He bounces off of them, but his weird jumping off the gears is probably why those gears are in those specific places.

I feel like it's a reference to the Matrix since in the movie the red pill was used to escape the matrix, whereas the blue pill was used to stay in it. The question mark kinda hints to that too
