Editor Chris, you do a fantastic job editing Dave's videos. Please do us all ONE favor. When he screams and the speakers start clipping because of the high frequency, please turn down the volume for those parts. I'll be pissed if my center channel speakers tweeter gets blown from him screaming. I watch with the volume set to the point I can barely hear it because of this. 26:02 is a perfect example.

I trolled myself a bit while watching this video. When Dave got softlocked at 6:50, I was thinking: "is he gonna say 'SOFTLOCK CITY!'?", only for my audio to cut out. I thought I just pressed mute, so I turned the volume up to max, only to realize that what actually happened was my headphones disconnected, so then everyone got startled by a very loud "SOFTLOCK CITY!".

Maybe it would be better to have the game screen slightly zoomed out with a border like I've seen other streamers do. That way you wouldn't have to keep moving your facecam to avoid blocking part of the screen, and people could see all the trolls you fall for!

It is a twice twice edit also might have to do with on off block switching and probably some wierd entity limit thing edit 2: he grabs the 2nd checkpoint at the end of the first 2 times he did it

something that helps to change the level every time he gets CP1 are the red coins, for whatever reasons you can "change2 certain elements of the level after you get red coins (if you know enough about MM level design), that's probably it more than doing a twice twice

Oh, it wasn't even a death reset, it was an absentminded "I'm talking about stuff not dealing with the game and missed a step so I'm going to reset instead of die." I get that streamers have a limited amount of time, and are very impatient, I'm impatient as well, but you'd think by now people would STOP restarting the level to save a couple of extra seconds when stuff like this happens. Sometimes it's even only fractions of seconds. Just die the normal death so you never have to worry about losing all your progress. Thanks for the video content DGR. Thanks for the editing Chris.

It wasn't even a "missed a step" reset. He simply paused the game to talk to Amanda, and hit the restart button instead of simply backing out.

@@marshallpeters7174 He paused after missing the leaf required to get through the saw and would have needed to die to reset the area and try again. In his distracted state he knew that he "needed to reset" and thus did... just by 'starting over' instead of dying. So, yes, it was a "missed a step" reset.
