I thought that *there could have been 3 different starborn factions, red, blue, and purple. originally, just red and blue. The red and blue factions had an alliance. overtime, a new planet of starborns (the purple one) started to grow. Then, one day the red starborns decided to attack the blue ones. Making the purple planet begin to break. The purple royal family sent away the prince to protect him. Seeing as Scott was alone in space, that could have been why. The red and blue starborns have been at war ever since, ultimately destroying the purple planet of starborns and everyone living there. When Sparklez crashed, he was going to spy on the blue starborns, and gather information, then report back. Sparklez lied to Scott, because he didn't know him, and Scott could have been a blue starborn in disguise.* Just my theory, and sorry that was so long!

Scott’s backstory… Prince Sparklez was sent out on a royal mission and crash landed on Origins. He had no way to communicate to the Home World or leave this planet. He was stuck. Then he found another starborne. He wasn’t alone. But Scott doesn’t recall a starborne royal family, or Home World, or academy, or anything that Sparklez keeps taking about! He only remembers being alone. Then Scott’s powers start to change and so do Prince Sparklez’s. Prince Sparklez recalls a legend that starborne royals can activate each other’s powers… Prince Sparklez’s mother and father are both royals. His uncle, however, had an affair with a non royal and when she told him she was pregnant he cast her out because the baby (Scott) wasn’t a pure royal. She left the Home World for fear of him getting revealed as a royal (as the legend says) and went to a quiet planet where she could safely raise her son. She taught Scott to be responsible and helpful. Over time she became very sick. He cared for her the best he could, but there was nothing he could do and sadly she died. He couldn’t stay there any longer. The memory of his mother was too painful. So he left, and that’s when he crash landed on Origins. Waking up with no memory except loneliness, Scott tried to be useful so the beings of Origins would keep him around. After a year of being on Origins another starborne crash landed there just like him. They learn that Scott may be a royal just like Prince Sparklez. Eventually the two find a way to get off Origins and return to the Home World where they confront the royal family. Scott has slowly started to recall bits of his past and using this knowledge they figure out that Scott is actually the illegitimate son of Prince Sparklez’s uncle. (This is my personal headcanon, not necessarily what actually happened.)

Royale blood= red? I don't think so, the color purple is a symbolism for wealth, and royalty then, by default. Most flags have little to no purple color in them, and little to no clothes used purple either. Since purple dye was so rare back in yee-olden days, and when there was purple around, only the richest could afford it. It's purple stuff is more affordable and popular now, but the symbolism still sticks I think.
