Over the years, I've explored various music genres - from classical to dubstep, Asian folk to Scandinavian tunes. However, with time, each musical genre tends to provide me with less dopamine than before. Except for your music, Danheim. I honestly consider you the best musical artist I've ever encountered in my life. Absolutely one of a kind.

Mighty Danheim I am one of your biggest fans. I have followed you since the beginning. When you had less than 1k subs. I have never joined the channel because I have always felt that I'm too late and everyone would just think I'm a new fan. I should.have joined years ago but never did. Just know you have helped me through this life. More than you can imagine. I spread your music always, and listen every week. Never stop making new music, never.

I'm a huge classic rock fan, I love 80s synth pop, I sometimes listen to minimal and electronic music, I love Mozart and all that classical stuff... but for the day that I die I just wanna sit beneath an old mighty tree, look at a lake with the golden glitter of a setting sun on its surface and listen to birds singing and the beating drums of your songs and then just leave this illusion we call world...
@Selenga987 ай бұрын
Dear Danheim, the real reason I met you is because the gentleman I like listened to you. Understanding its soul requires understanding your music. But your music is complex, chilling and epic. This impressed me. Best regards from Turkey.

I am your fan since 2019. Never before I was addicted to a genre for so long and it never gets boring. Your music is how I start my morning and it follows me where ever I go and what ever I do throughout the day. A little bit Fuimadane in between as well but you are my favourite. You are incredible.
@BarbaRusso Жыл бұрын
Before reading the description i thought that this one sounds different. Not your usual "epic, viking battle music" that makes you want to pick up an axe and go raiding and pillaging. This made me imagine somebody on a quest, traveling, searching, exploring. The tagelharpa in the beginning sounding almost joyful, just like the feeling you get when you first step outside your home on a journey, full of anticipation and curiosity. Then the song unravels further, the drums making me feel as if I'm walking on a road, with twists and turns and ups and downs. When I first heard the whispering voice i thought of an evil force that tempts the explorer, whispering into his ear trying to lure him away from the way he chose, from the road he's walking. Then the traveler sings his own song, his voice confident, proud and strong, the voice of a warrior. The two voices collide, as if battling each other, the whispering voice sounding stronger and clearer and almost "on top" of our hero's voice. However in the end only the warrior's voice is left, sounding far and distant. Now after reading the description and translating the lyrics i realize that i'm a little off with my analysis but i enjoyed writing this. I have to be honest, when i heard the first notes i thought that i will not like it. Sounded too different from the previous songs i listened to, not as epic, not as rough, not screaming "war and destruction" like many other "viking" songs out there. However after my second and third listen i realized that i enjoy it immensely. It is much more deeper than i first thought, offering so much to the imagination, inspiring, captivating, holding me in like a great book or a movie or a video game or any other piece of art. Probably because all of them are first and foremost stories. In my opinion art cannot be called art if it doesn't try to tell a story, unfortunately I see a lot of this in our era. Meaningless, soulless, empty creations that don't even try to tell a story. Because that's what is encrypted in our DNA, in our genes, in our subconscious, the deep desire for stories. And it doesn't matter where you are from or where your ancestors came from, we all share this desire to absorb and create stories. It goes way back to the times when we were all huddled together by the fire and all we had were stories. Anyway, I'm incredibly thankful to you Danheim for your incredible work. Please continue what you are doing, walk your road, tell your stories. P.S I like that subtle little sound of the rustling of paper at 2:00

My lyrics for the song that I chant: Wotan, König der Götter, Sprecher der Runen. Zehn Runen, die ich heute für dich schnitze, in Erinnerung an das Opfer für das Wissen, das du gebracht hast. Heil den Asen. Heil den Ásynjur English translation: Odin, king of the gods, speaker of the runes. Ten runes I carve for you this day, in remembrance of the sacrifice for knowledge you have made. Hail to the gods (Æsir) Hail to the Goddesses (Ásynjur)
