Jomsviking is named that, from Jomsborg, settlement on south Baltic, on mouth river Odra in West-Pomerania i Poland, next to island Wolin.

@@RackerPaS Many historians and as well as archeological sites with names and artifacts leading us to believe that the region of Wolin was most likely the place where Jomsborg was locate. There's yet to be 100% evidence, however there's also yet to be any evidence against it. And the general consensus among historians is that Wolin was most likely the location of the fortress of the Jomsvikings. You don't like it? Take it up with historians who studied this for years.

@@kjaldir1089 In fact, the Jomsviking Saga itself provides the proof. The Jomsborg was the same as Haithabu/Hedeby and had room for 500 longships. In Wolin, the Vineta of the Saga, there is no such place. Vineta is therefore not Jomsborg. And by the way, I would rather chop off my big toe than believe something a Pole says about history. Spandowerhagener Wiek (Harbour) is the perfect place for a vikingborg and for 500 longships.

@@RackerPaS Again put it up with the historians, mind you most of them are Germans that actually studied this before the 30s before SS loved to fabricate any evidence of pagan settlement in the east. How about you actually read the sagas: Jómsvíkinga saga places Jomsborg at the mouth of the Oder river, which is where Wolin is. Heimskringla saga only says at the southern Baltic coast. Even Saxo Grammaticus says it's near modern Stettin, which is near Wolin. Give me facts instead of your wild fantasies.

Et malgré que je vive face a une eglise , ai fait ma communion , ai été en religion et morale a l'école... parent marié a une époque. Croix du christ partout.
